The first post

Today is freezing cold, never been such cold at this time in the last few years. I still remember when we firt came to Long Island two years ago, when we took the bus trip to New York city, which was around the chrismas time, the temperature was above 40F. And that was a big drop (about 10F) from previous days. But it is 20F outside. Everything is freezing.

I went the science learning center at the Lab to grap some holiday gifts for kids. They really have cool stuff. Unfortunately, some of the cool things are only for teens or pre-teens. Luckly, I did get some interesting gifts. I hope they will like them.

I talked to Xiangdong, and arranged his visit. I also got the title and abstract of Andrei's talk next Tuesday. Also sent out all the application letters, and asked my friends to send their recommendation letters.

It's close to the holiday time, and I feel little bit tired of doing anything. Hope I will get back soon.
